These steps do nothing. I have wasted too many gauntlets with thwarted arena matches. Since arenas are the only thing I play, it's pretty annoying.

Same happened here. Is this a performance or connection issue on server side? Right before the crash the arena match is frozen for 1 sec and crashes. Couple of weeks ago it seemed one of the timeout was bit bigger, that time the arena match hanged for a while (3-5secs) and it could continue without losing strikes and guantlets. Other part of the game seems stable, my network connection is stable too.

This issue appeared couple of months ago, then seems to be fixed with this timeout tolerance and now it is back. Very annoying. Please investigate and fix it.

It is an issue with the featured plant ,it has happened before,the game is not stable,see the threads about the crashes on the beach wave adventure levels. EA need to fix this by an update. This forum is not EA ,we are players of the game.

Arena keeps crashing… I have lost gauntlets and it’s sooo annoying. Can pvz please reimburse me? Also it never advances to the next reward so I’m losing out on a lot 

My game will crash every time I’m about to win the arena, or randomly. I’ve been using gems to purchase gauntlets and is very disappointing because I can’t advance

Is anyone else having a significant number of crashes lately. It’s never been a problem before and now a can hardly get through an arena level.

@EA_Illium    there has been many reports of Arena crashing and the guilty finger is currently pointing to the new plant Meteor Flower. 

There is also a wrongly defined Pinata Party rewards which has been identified and I was hopping someone from here can alert the PopCap devs to push out an urgent fix if possible, because if nothing is done, then there will likely be no Pinata party rewards for the rest of the week which might trigger many new players who depend on the these rewards to grow their garden leaving the game.
