Re: Plants VS Zombies: Battle Royale

Hopefully, EA will keep the game as it is. Although players range from their 70's and down, the game is first and foremost targeted at small kids i.e. from 5-6 and up and a PUBG/Fortnite style of game is in terms of complexity far beyond what one can expect a 5 or 6-year-old to handle.

As far as I'm concerned it'll not only ruin the basic idea of the game but also the humorous scenery (naff as it may be) that is an integral part of the maps in the game.

I have difficulty in seeing that a copy-cat version of Fortnite or PUBG for that matter is particularly innovative in terms of an improved GW2.

  • It would also take more development time and manpower, which is currently being set up for GW3 and other projects, to just come up with a workable demo (early access). Also to copy a market to appeal to more players might attract a lot of unhealthy attention to a game first and foremost that can be played with families.

maybe not a battle royale, but how about a plants vz zombies vz gnomes. A match of 3 teams facing each other at the same time can be interesting.
