"Had to have a friend log into their account to post this reply on my behalf. Origin will NOT allow me to create an account due to this captcha. It's excessively difficult and annoying. I'm assuming the client thinks I take to long to solve the 5 so when I complete the 5 it changes to 20, I then spend upwards of 20 minutes solving it and at the end it tells me to refresh the page and do it all over again. I'm not using any kind of proxy or VPN, I'm not creating a troll account nsme, and I'm not using a suspicious email. This captcha is extremely ridiculous. I've spent the better part of two hours repeating this difficult thing over and over and having the service decide for whatever reason it's not good enough. EA wonders why it has the reputation it has and yet it will not even ALLOW me to give them money. And I cannot even imagine how annoying and difficult this must be for someone who struggles with it even more than I. Whoever decided this should exist and whoever at EA decided to implement it should not be employed. Having a bot detection flag a real person with a real account creation attempt is annoying, however this thing goes so incredibly far beyond that. When you waste a real potential customers time this badly, you've permanently lost that customer."

Yes!

The specific page is the account creation confirmation page captcha.  It literally asks you to count up dice to 14 twenty freaking times!  When you spend 15 minutes trying to do this, you get a message saying you took too long and need to try again.  I'm ready to throw my laptop across the room.

Has Origin noticed a severe drop off in new accounts? Could it be because nobody can create an account!??!

Check Reddit and see that this has been an issue for MONTHS, and has gotten worse!
