The reason for no lobbies of CtT is because of rank based match making. Have a high rank? Lobby will be very dead because most of the community arent high levels. I for example struggle to find a full match in the town hall, Im a max ranker so that means ill be paired with other max rankers and people who are close to that rank (5455). Turf takeover and whatever mode in the multiplayer portal doesnt have rank based match making so you can find lobbies fast and easy, meanwhile mystery portals will be dead alot of the time. This game did not need this match making at all, so that lobbies in any game can be played and enjoyed. I hope they see this, because even boss hunt gets a struggle finding players with your rank, and most of the time throws you in a match where people dont even know what to do.

Off course, you've got the option to disable it.

2. Coins reward is too small. Need more coins, or get more coins when :

         a. Steal taco

         b. Bring taco back home

         c. Vanquish enemy who stole taco.

         d. Bring taco back.

    Or We can put this as part of a quest.

3. Disable rank matching so we can have more players.

Finally get logged in and NO ONE is playing Tacos on pc. Can't even check the new game mode out....Where oh where is everyone????!!!!!!! 

So far I find it about as excruciating as I do all the other misery portal events.  I thought multiplayer in the back yard would be fun, boy was I wrong.  And that's if you're lucky enough to find a lobby with any players in it.

Why you changed your mind? The map too small and become repetitious since we always spawn from the same place all the time?

Unplayable, dead lobbys for a dead game anyway and simisisa505 is controling the EU server with oneshot kills, godmode and aimbot.

      PurpleKudzu423     I have the same problem but on Xbox One (I'm in Europe) and so has a guy from  Brazil. We have commented on the problem in the "Bugs & Issues" section of the Answers HQ 

I think this mode could be very fun to play but unfortunate i have not been able to experience it properly.

I'm at 5455 and i only get in high ranked very empty lobbies I would love to experience this mode the normal way in a full lobby and without extended cannons and electro pea's. 

Nowadays those seems the only characters being used by high ranks. 

So please bring Taco Bandits also as a normal game mode or drop the rank based game matching from the portal so the "oldies" can also have some fun playing this.

Another thing is that the games are too short, why not 15 minutes just like a standard game of Gnome Bomb.

I've now tried 8 times since the mode went live yesterday, at different times of the day and different US based xbox servers, and have not been able to find a lobby with ANYONE in it. Skill based matchmaking really needs to be turned off.

I don't believe that's the problem. I took part in a game where about 70 pct. of them were max rankers while the rest were all other ranks. The account I was using has a rank of 1796. When trying to get back into the game after 1/2 an hour I met an empty lobby. That was on the East Coast server. Attempting the same on the  West Coast and Europe, and again on the East Coast server, at different times of the day and alternating between three different accounts (only one of them max ranked) I still met an empty lobby. I have put it down as a bug and reported it as such.

The game lobby was empty all weekend...I never had one person in this Taco game type, and I couldn't find any players for Team Vanquish either during the day on Europe server so they broke something.  Don't worry about tuning matchmaking when you have barely players left.  Frustrating that GW1 is still active but they are killing GW2 completely.

Dear fellow PC players, get your dupas out of TT and into Taco Bandits! I tried to get games on NA East, NA West, and even Europe but no luck even early Friday evening which is peak time normally for MP games. Just to check I tried the regular portal for TT matches, and sure enough, instant pop into a full game.

It's not dead on PC but it looks like it if you try any mode other than TT. I really want to play this game mode too. I love Taco Bandits in GW1 and this new one looks a lot like Two Fort from TF2 (I watched the dev stream with Zero and friends). It's very disappointing to have a mode that looks great and I only ever found one other person in the portal so it wouldn't start!

Edit: If it uses level based matchmaking, that would also explain my issue. I understand why you'd want to use it but it's frustrating to not be able to play. Make it permanent and add bots to it so at least we can play the mode!

@Iron_Guard8its a "skill-based" matchmaking. Its easy to find hackers this way, 2 in 30 minutes. Also the reason no one plays it and for myself I cant change to another server the pings are so bad, game becomes unplayable.

I'm playing PS4, two account, both max ranks, West Coast server, can't find any players over the weekend:

1. Totally empty.

2. One or two then they bail out.

3. I start with 3-4, then bail out after 1 min, then I just stay play split screen for whole round for 7 minutes straight, 12 tacos back and forward, and still no body joining??

My prediction why this is not popular as we expect:

1. The map is too small.

2. Become repetitious.

3. Too little reward (coins, rainbow star).

4. No teamwork, no focus point like Gnome bomb, it's chaotic/random.

5. no thriller/intense moment, no back and forth like Gnome Bomb, once you pass half of map, you can't stop it anymore.
