Hello @EA_Solaire,
I tried what you suggested, followed the steps, and unfortunately clearing my Origin cache didn't work. The bug still persists on the origin client, both through the website and on the desktop app. Thank you for mentioning this though. Still, I feel like this is something the EA techs and the higher-ups in charge of sales might have to internally investigate in order to resolve. As I've mentioned I've tried reaching out but to no avail.
The agent I spoke with previously said he would bring it up with his team, however, there's no telling how long it may take for them to address the matter. And that's if they actually do. I'm not saying that to be rude or come across as offensive to anyone but my recent experiences with EA's customer service have led me to believe and feel like this matter and myself are just being ignored. I hope that you understand.
If you have any other suggestions on a way to resolve the matter, however, I'm all ears. I know that you're a community manager and all too so, I'm not sure how much you may know or what you're able to do to help, but if I could ask a favor of you -- if perhaps you have other contacts that I don't who may be able help in some manner, could you please pass this matter along? For all any of us know, if this isn't an issue with my cache in the Origin client, perhaps I'm likely not the only one who's experiencing it.
As I mentioned in my previous post if this is a problem with the sales and games listed under deals, it could not only be a bad experience for customers who are under the implication that a game they're purchasing is on sale (which may not be,) but for EA it would mean a higher rate of complaints and refunds over a matter that should have been preventable.
