Re: There is no possible way to get dozer blades

I am level 72 with a half 1 million population and I can find the dozer blades. When you are looking for them in the global trade center try clicking on an item that you don't normally buy , or an unpopular item like the lightbulbs... You can find the blades quite often because they are not advertised and will be in with the item that is advertised ,
they're there it just takes a while to find them good luck I have found more than five in one day.

I find that hard to believe.......I've tried looking at only unpopular products and they've never got blades available. Why would someone advertise light bulbs but not dozer blades, which will 100% go immediately for top price? The only people i can think of are newbs, so I tried looking at level 10 items (steel, wood, seeds, nails, shovels, hammers, plastic) but still nothing.

What I can't get my head round is how much it would cost in dollars to expand everything, 24 for one item, need between 6 and 12, all three items........averaging 720 for one area. That's hundreds of pounds to open everything, are people seriously paying that?

If course an easy way of fixing it is if you get as far as someone's city, either lock others out or simply give everyone one of the items. They are FICTIONAL after all.

    Hi

Just saying - in one day?? I am at level 30 and yes I also manage to get 'dozer blades, security cameras etc. eventually.

The point, that you and the other ones who are saying you can get these items, are missing is that it takes hours and sometimes days of frustrating repeated clicking on unwanted items or trying  to beat someone to it. Meaning you are trying to get around a major flaw in the game.

That is not good for a game and all people should stand together to get EA to fix the game because as it stands they DON'T CARE. It benefits them as people are inclined to go ahead and rather buy the wanted item - money for them.

In the meantime many people are getting frustrated and quitting - only the diehards who keep trying are posting here hoping for a solution (look at the posts). So the quitters don't post and simply fade off the scene, bad advertising for someone who asks about the game and loss of income from someone who may occasionally spend some cash.

I play games like these because I enjoy building, creating and watching my character/ house/ city/ nation grow but I am already looking around for better games, maybe even purchasing a game that is far less frustrating.

So EA is winning but losing in the long run.

    Just saying.....

Can I get my items in a day for the upgrade I want? Mostly yes I can, but then again I have done my research and therefore I am still sitting on lvl 14 as I am aware it gets harder and harder to find especially expansion items later on in the game i.e. today I opened up another land expansion, I had 1 item this morning btw, but yes it took some clicking. I agree, it should not be this hard to get the items, but i guess EA wants us to spend our hard earned monies on the game.

Remotes for the VU tower however.... like gold dust!! For the love of God EA, send some my way as my city wants to be showered in disasters!!

The true purpose of this game is to make money for EA.   If you cannot find what you need you can buy it using SimCash.   Simcash is hard to come by in the game.  So if you are frustrated enough you will spend REAL MONEY to buy SimCash to buy stuff.

However,  if you use a ZEN approach and decide the game is to spend wasted time then you can have the patience to wait out EA and get your stuff from the Market or from clicking on Sims opinions.   (I have gotten 12 items 2 days ago and 11 yesterday from clicking on Opinions at level 43)
