Re: Weekly event: battle arena team vanquish
Here are my weekly challenge tips for completing this week's event - "Oops - Too Many Players!". Also, Rux has 5 prize bulbs as his Gift of the Week so don't forget to claim that. My challenge tips are as follows:
1. Win a Match. For this, you must simply win one match. The other challenges are not hard, but take much longer, so it's worth trying to get this specific challenge as quickly as possible. As per normal, if you join during a match, you may get a quick win if your team happens to win. I joined at the end of a match and got the win almost immediately after I had joined. As this is Team Vanquish, three things are important: revives, healing and vanquishes. Vanquishes give your team points. Revives remove points from your enemies' team. Healing reduces the chance (or prevents) you and your teammates from being vanquished, denying the other team of some points. If you can do as much of those things as possible, and prevent your enemy team from doing these things as much as possible, you will improve your chances of winning. Healers are useful for this, characters with lots of damage output and staying with your team helps as well. By doing all this, you can maximise your chances of winning.
2. Deal 10,000 Damage. You are not required to complete this challenge in one match, or get vanquishes to complete it. As this is a significant amount of damage, use characters that deal a lot of damage or that have really damaging attacks or abilities. For this reason, Attack characters are the best option as they are designed to deal decent damage. If your enemies are grouped, use attacks and abilites that are effective against groups of enemies, such as Chilli Bean Bomb, Steam Blaster or Explosive Escape. If there are Al, you can focus on trying to damage them as they don't tend to run away when you damage them. Upgrades that increases your damage per second is useful as you will deal more damage this way.
3. Get 35 Vanquishes. You are not required to complete this challenge in one match. Shared vanquishes count, as per normal. Abilities that deal high damage or that are effective in groups are decent for this, as you can net many vanquishes this way, especially if your enemy team is unaware. Stay with your team if possible, you are less likely to get direct vanquishes, but you are also less likely to be vanquished yourself (and you can still get shared vanquishes). Upgrades that trigger when you get vanquishes can prove useful as you should have an easier time getting additional vanquishes.
