@NicoelproSSJ This mostly depends on your playstyle. 

If you prefer being defensive, being able to heal and to reduce the strength of plants, go for Rustbolt! You can play cards that have high health, that sets up a defense and allows you to heal occassionally.

If you prefer being offensive, to deal additional damage and rush your enemies, go for Professor Brainstorm! You can play cheap cards that have high strength, cards that deal direct damage and allows you to rush before your enemy can set up their defenses.

Additionally, consider each of their superpowers, which you can view by tapping on the hero in the collection menu to see what their superpowers do. Both of these heroes have the Brainy trait so no issue there.
