Ok friend just to start up that guy you saw im pretty sure his name is x7 albert he is a compulsive liar. Sorry but they did shut down the studio for the skate games, but don't get soo down though they are rebooting the need for speed franchise. The Tony hawk pro skater 5 is coming so if EA thinks it'll get them money then maybe they'll think about it but until then just don't believe anything from rise skating thats the best thing to do

I can totally understand the confusion, but I can only suggest to take in consideration information provided via the official channels such as ea.com.
Just to clarify things, up to now, please note that no announcement has been made regarding a new Skate title. If this change we will let you know.
Also if you want to receive the latest news, events and promotions for selected EA's products, you can select ‘Skate’ in your Contact Preferences from Origin:
1. Go to www.origin.com/about
2. Log in with your Origin Account
3. Once you're logged in navigate to Privacy settings
4. Scroll down to 'Contact Preferences'
5. Ensure 'Skate’ is checked
7. Select the Update button
