You probably earned enough points to upgrade the Vu tower. You wouldn’t get any points till you upgrade the Vu tower.
My screenshot is fully upgraded, but you can see your current level and how much it’d cost to upgrade when you click the tower.

Thanks for the quick response. What's confusing is that I updated my Vu tower weeks ago. (It was expensive!)

@GAglamour Hmm only thing I can think of was that you got enough points to the next level, otherwise the points should be added.
The first 6 levels aren’t so expensive and don’t required so much points. You reach to the next level with a few disasters.
lv2 2pts 10K
lv3 3pts 20K
lv4 4pts 30K
lv5 5pts 40K
lv6 6pts 50K
Can you show us a screenshot of your Vu tower level and points progress? Just as my image in the previous post. Tap the tower so you see the level and how many points you have 🙂

@GAglamour Your Vu tower is level3 and it’s ready to upgrade for level4.
You can still launch disasters, but no Vu points will be added till you upgrade it.
