Infinite Load after Death: Jedi Fallen Order

Product: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug I haven't run into any posts, but if anyone would have a suggestion about this issue, please let me know! Im running the game on a nvidea 970 and an i5, but I get a solid 50-60 frames with almost everything on ultra/high on a few settings. I had 0 issues in the prologue portion, but I also never died in that entire section either. Please, if anyone has any solutions, let me know! I have 16gb of ram too, so I don't feel like it's my computer as the game is also running on a fresh SSD as well. Thanks ahead of time! I FOUND A FIX BUT IT IS ONLY TEMPORARY!! It was mentioned below, but if you are running a two monitor setup like me, two different graphics cards for each monitor, you HAVE to unplug one monitor. It sucks, I know, but it was the only fix. I'm on the latest gpu driver update and everything runs buttery smooth with less than 20 second death screens. * EA man lol.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No idea. Im running: i5-6500 GTX 970 16gb RAM Motherboard z170x-Gaming 5
What happens when the bug occurs? When i die, I get the respawn screen, but after that an infinite load screen. Nothing happens and it's just an infinite load.
What do you expect to see? To respawn and be able to play the game. I have no issues besides this and I get a smooth 50 to 60 framrate with some options turned to high.

Edit: so reinstalling did absolutely nothing. Idk what the hell is going on, I even ran a repair. Fml

  • I'm having the same problem.

    i5 6500

    16GB Ram

    1TB SSD

    NVIDIA 1060

Edit: after some tests, I think my problem is related to having a second screen connected, if have only one screen active, then loading screens after death are somehow OK

  • @ResAK47 Holy * bro, Im going to test this right now, but I also have to monitors. Are you running them on seperate gpus too?
  • I ran into this on the first world with the giant frogs. I let it sit loading for 3min and it finally loaded. This was after killing the game twice. Right now I find it very inconsistent where it loads in 3 seconds and then again I sit for a minute plus.

    Im on a:

    i9 - somthing

    RTX2080ti

    m.2 1TB

I know its the game and not my PC with others having same issue. I do have dual monitors and something I just noticed was if I alt+tab out of game when its taking over a minute it will actually load and I will alt+tab back in. Give that a shot and see what happens.

  • @Pycked Unfortunately brother, your solution did not work for me. Ive already tried that while I had dual monitors running. Im going to see if a single monitor will work fine..

I didnt have my Nivida up to date wit hte "Game ready" driver so I went and did that now. Will report back if any improvements.

  • Haven't had a initiate load since this morning but still getting very inconsistent loading times from 3sec up to 30sec for the same re-spawn.

  • Same issue, GTx 970 and i5 processor as well. Really annoying, makes me want to refund the game.
