Pause menu not working

How severe is your issue? Can play, but it's highly frustrating
What happens when the bug occurs? The pause menu becomes inaccessible. It doesn't matter whether I press Esc OR the pause button on my HOTAS, the pause menu doesn't come up. This is especially crippling when I need to switch out of VR because the frame rates dropped too dramatically.

This issue is a major headache, and can ruin my experience if I need to take off VR. Being able to access the pause menu is absolutely CRUCIAL.
