Common sense dictates if simply "throwing" (Pushing?) Purge Troopers off cliffs feels like a cheesy sploit, you take them on in combat instead.

Also, you didn't say what difficulty mode you played on, but it was not my experience that the split saber attack one shotted all non boss enemies. And if it felt too powerful, just don't use it.

There are a myriad of ways to account for the difficulty, like not buying skills to increase force and life, or buff your saber, and not collecting all the stims or life/force essence.

After testing them, I personally didn't use things like split saber attack, or evasion (especially evade/kick). The game is what you make of it.
