Stopped gaining experience (XP) from combat
Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug For some time now, I have stopped getting any XP from killing enemies. XP from other sources (e.g., scanning and essences) does seem to still work; it's just combat that isn't giving me credit. And these ARE fights where I'm getting the killing blow (not using controlled units to do it; which is its own issue but seems to be a bad choice rather than a bug per se).
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No idea; I can't point to anything in particular that stopped the XP from accumulating. I'm currently on Jedha picking up items I missed, and I believe it happened sometime during this session. I do remember getting credit for an AT-ST glitching off a cliff as I rode by, so maybe that did something. It's also possible it's linked to a perk I have equipped, particularly since I have two for XP. Currently equipped: Gambler, Wisdom, Resilience (8 of 9 slots filled). Enemies that gave 0 XP include a string of mercenaries along the Timeworn Bridge and the Sutaban inside the Monastery Walls.
What happens when the bug occurs? Killing an enemy yourself does NOT advance your XP bar
What do you expect to see? Killing an enemy yourself DOES advance your XP bar
Other people on reddit are reporting the same/similar bug.
Note: This is NOT the same as the bug where you lose your XP after death because the enemy holding it (usually a Mogu) glitched it below the floor or into a wall.
EDIT: Tested a little. Went to Anchorite Base, swapped out XP perks for non-XP perks, and killed a droid patrol. Did get XP. Went back to Monastery Walls with the same perks and killed the same Sutaban again; this did NOT give XP. So it appears to be inconsistent what is and isn't giving XP, and I'm not sure if perks are related.
