Crash during transition to "Confront Dagan at the Koboh Observatory "
On the ship, after choosing to navigate to Koboh and after the characters discuss something about bad smells, the game directs me to interact with the holotable. As soon as I walk toward it, the game crashes requiring a hard restart. EVERY SINGLE TIME. All graphics settings set to lowest possible or off (including ray tracing) and resolution set to 1080 No overclocking No overlays No anti-virus or other programs running in the background Computer hardware is more than adequate to handle this game This is just the latest crash that happens at a specific point in the game, only I can't get past this one because there's no other option. I already tried all of this, so please don't just paste it again: Verify Game Files: If playing on PC, use the platform's file verification tool (e.g., Steam or EA App) to check for corrupted or missing files. Lower Graphics Settings Further: Even though settings are already on low, try disabling additional features like shadows, anti-aliasing, or post-processing effects. The game crashes (computer restart required) consistently after about 1-2 minutes in the Stone Spires area of Koboh when I look across the area from one end to the other. This is even with all visual settings on low and ray tracing off. I'm not overclocked, no background apps running, and all drivers are up to date. This happens at any stage in the storyline (day or night). There are no error messages or events in event viewer. No other posts about crashes have helped, and anyway they're all over 2 years old. I have not been able to run this game at a smooth 60fps despite having a Ryzen 5 5600X, a 4070 Super and 32GB of RAM. The disk is installed on a NVME stick and there's repeating stutter and huge frame drop occurring throughout the game in most region, Koboh is awful as many part of the map gives way to fps drops that slows the game for a few seconds or more. And that in every resolution, with or without DLSS, FSR, with mid graphic across the board. I've tried older, newer, newest GPU driver, no change. I've tried mods, some improvements but still not acceptable gaming experience. Plus changing some settings in game like DLSS seems to create more problem than anything. And for some unknown reason, the EA App keep thinking the game is running when the app is closed, forcing me to kill the EA process in order to relaunch the game. Dear EA! Sorry, but this attitude is outrageous! I bought a game that is completely unusable due to its bugs. There is no normal place where I could report the problem to you directly, but as I see, many of us are struggling with such problems. Even the Community Manager does not respond to emails or forums. I do not really see that your team cares about its customers and pays attention to feedback or, I say a lot, their satisfaction. Unfortunately, the picture is starting to form in my mind that all they need is a customer as long as they pay properly! I think the minimum is to respond, but a feedback on the status of the bug investigation (8D, FTA, timeline or something) would be expected. So it seems I'm hard locked out of the main story mission because after wall running and jumping and dashing it does not offer me to press L2 and draw myself to the ladder to progress the route/mission, in the images you can see were that is. Also there's another bug at the start of the mission where when you grab the the bird and glide to the central islan in viscis bog, the vent that gives you altitude does not work, I struggled a while after I read that it's still possible to cross it but I made it barely. I need help forcing or fixing Lift and Hit skill bug I'm playing on Xbox. I get to the point in the game where you're shown the new 'Lift/Hit' mechanic. there are two turrets and a door where the game asks you to use the new abilities, but the game doesn't allow me to use the 'focus' mechanic (Xbox series S) neither in the turrets nor in the door. The game has blocked me because I can't move past the door or back up because you drop into the area and I can't go back. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? So finally build a new computer and decided to return to this game after long break. Bought this one when it launched, played couple hours and then left because of severe performance issues. Now yesterday decided to try again and got 15 crashes in 1 hour time period in Jedha. Sometimes by just looking with mouse, sometimes during cutscenes and sometimes just by standing still. I'm attempting to reach the Mire Terror. When I land from the zip line, I cannot reach the grapple point. All of the online videos I've seen have Cal walking a few steps and then using the grapple. Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor Platform: Xbox Series X Summarize your bug: I started playing about a year ago, and then took a break. Returned to the game and found that the Force Confuse prompts did nothing when activated (I.e.- A dialogue has someone glow blue and requests an ‘RB’ button prompt). Was able to bypass encounters with Force Confuse until I’m near the end of the game, in which I’m assaulting the Imperial outpost on Koboh and a guard talking to a droid refuses to let me thru. Noticed that in my skills the tree for Confusion is still ‘broken’ (unavailable), telling me I haven’t learned it yet. Pretty sure it was the first tree I maxed out, before my break, as that is my preferred play style. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unknown. A similar post from over a year ago suggested something similar is from a glitch causing a crash early game when learning Force Confusion. What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing. Unable to proceed as the guard won’t let me thru. What do you expect to see? When I look at playthrus online, the guard is supposed to let me into the next room after confusion is used. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting tips I’ve seen - tried a different controller, remapped the focus command, restarted the game/xbox/power cycle, reinstall the game. Appears to be something wrong with my save game and that skill does not register. Tried resetting skill points and it still doesn’t allow me to access the Confusion tree. I have around half of the achievements unlocked, however after August 25th I have yet to get another achievement. I have done the task required for many achievements but haven't gotten any unlocked. I really want to 100% this game, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have logged in and out of both steam and EA, deleted the cache for steam, and launched the game through both Steam and EA.
