Turret Focus
Any suggestions on how to get past level right after you learn force pull down? Playing on PS5 and R1 won’t let me focus on turret. Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor Platform:PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Summarize your bug Force maneuver (R1 + triangle/X) doesn't work / too small a "sweet spot" to use it. How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Most frustrating place to attempt to use it was KOBOH - VISCID BOG, near elevator. Three platforms that need to be risen to cross the bog to reach echo. What happens when the bug occurs? Force maneuver doesn't work / hard to find a spot to highlight the objects both with camera and player movement. What do you expect to see? Flickering highlights of movable objects / no highlight at all. Sometimes reloading save helps but still very difficult. Moving objects with the force is very difficult to do as finding the *exact* spot to highlight the objects is hard to find. Help me please with either a bug or a mistake I am doing in a game. I cannot jump off a rail. I can only move ahead or back. Any other action button on my PS5 controller do not respond when Cal hanging on it. Though, until I get to that rail all is working well in a game. The game doesn't launch from Steam, and it says that the game's license is invalid I bought the game on Steam's sale. When I download and try to launch it, I get this error. I've tried checking the integrity of the files, reinstalling, launching from Steam and EA, directly through a shortcut, with and without a VPN, but nothing works. I previously played Jedi Survivor (PC) during a promotional period through EA (2021 I believe, had since uninstalled the game and app). I recently purchased the game on Steam, and redownloaded/updated/logged in to EA app. When launching via steam, it starts the EA app and says "preparing game", I can see the game appear in Task Manager briefly, but quickly closes and the EA App shows “an error on our end caused the launch to fail." I have repaired EA app, uninstall+reinstall+delete prior cache data, made sure services are running on auto, made sure steam was updated, verified files, all I can think of on a hardware end, nothing has made a difference. I believe my entitlement may be conflicting between the promotional version and the Steam purchase. Even when I land hits on enemies (with lightsaber strikes or blaster shots), it appears as though the attacks do not register, as if they are missing the hitbox. This issue is the same for enemies attacking me—no damage is dealt. However, area-of-effect damage (such as bombs, missiles, or AOE abilities) works as intended. In contrast, when I use the meditation training feature, I can confirm that attacks register correctly and deal damage. Additionally, there is another bug where doors do not open when my character is standing in front of them. I am playing on a PS5 Pro. These issues are preventing me from progressing in the game. I'm playing on a pc. I try to fight the ninth? sister and all is going well untill there is a popup of a Dual stance message . The message says something about holding F and there appears also a CTRL on the bottom right of the screen. This message won't go away and it blocks my abilitiy to attack. I am experiencing an issue where EA AntiCheat is not installed at all for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which prevents the game from launching. The EAAntiCheat folder (C:\Program Files\EA\AC) is not created or remains empty. When I run the AntiCheat installer manually, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor does not appear in the dropdown list. Because of this, I cannot install the AntiCheat component at all. Troubleshooting steps I have already tried: Reinstalled the EA App multiple times Reinstalled the game on both Steam and Epic Games Verified game files Cleared EA App cache Ran EA App and installer as Administrator Attempted manual EA AntiCheat installation Tried force install using command (install 701) Disabled Windows security features (Controlled Folder Access) Checked for conflicting software (virtualization, reWASD, etc.) Tested another EA game (Fallen Order works normally) Created and tested with a new Windows administrator account Additional detail: Secure Boot is shown as “Unsupported” on my system, so it cannot be enabled. This issue seems to be related to the AntiCheat installation not being triggered or the game not being properly registered with EA AntiCheat. I'm stuck in Nova Garon in the white room after using BD-1's Electro Dart on the energy core. The Electro Dart's aim assist doesn't work (the line stays yellow, not blue), and the door in the white room won't open (no interaction prompt with BD-1). I have 36 hours of gameplay and can't progress in the main story. [Steps I've Tried: Restarted the game and PS5 multiple times (full shutdown, not rest mode). Meditated at the Hangar Bay Exterior meditation point and replayed the sequence (red barriers, energy core, white room). Died intentionally several times to reset scripts. Changed lightsaber stances (single, dual, crossguard). Traveled to other planets and returned to Nova Garon. Checked aim assist settings (set to Normal/High). Switched between Performance and Quality modes on PS5. Reinstalled the game and ensured it's fully updated (latest patch as of July 2025). Noticed the probe droid no longer spawns, and red barriers can be passed without Merrin's dash (which seems like another bug). I am on Koboh and am at the tar pit with the yellow platform near the beginning of the level. When I try to jump, I fall into the tar and keep falling through it to my death. I have tried creating and deleting beacons as well as playing a training level but nothing helps. I did not have this problem on my standard PS5. Is there any way to fix this without having to play the first two hours all over again?
