Jedi Survivor Crashing on Startup
Started playing the game this morning for the first time on PC. Played for around ~90 minutes or so, then took a short lunch. On relaunching the game, it now crashes as soon as the title logo appears. I've tried repairing files, the app, reinstalling the whole game, verifying file integrity, launching at a lower resolution, turning off any and all overlays/overclocking applications, etc. Nothing has worked. The crash is typically (but not always) in the form of an Unreal engine error. Here is the summary information: LoginId:eabde2f8fc62000b4268f71008b93b6e LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 686] RetCode = Adapter->CreateCommittedResource(Desc, GetGPUMask(), HeapProps, InitialState, ClearValue, &NewResource, Name, false) failed at D:/depot/r8branches/r8release/Engine/Source/Runtime/D3D12RHI/Private/D3D12Allocation.cpp:1411 with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED I will gladly give more information upon request if anyone is willing to direct me to where I can find the crash data.
cant launch game
i recently bought the game on epic and i just finished fallen order for the second time in a few years, when i tried launching survivor it gave me the error "failed to launch game an error on our end caused the launch to fail". i see im not the first person that experienced this and i tried every fix from the other posts and its still not working, is the game just totally broken now after 3 years and they dont mind fixing it or is there an actual fixDestroying Turrets in Lucrehulk Underbelly on Koboh
I have been playing Jedi Survivor again, trying to get 100% completion. I am saving Zee from the lucrehulk right now, and just got past the point where rayvis tries to attack me and BD-1 crushes him, sending us both down a pit. Once in that pit, I’m faced with two turrets and a locked door. I saw the cutscene with Cere that’s supposed to give me the ability to destroy turrets, but now I can’t destroy them OR lift the door. I am in Xbox series X, so when I press RB+A to do the move, it doesn’t register RB and I jsut jump. I’m not willing to restart this after all my progress. How can I fix this so I can actually play this game I spent $70 on?Rescue Zee from Lucrehulk
I like a bunch of other people got to the part of this mission where you learn the force life and slam ability, but cannot use it for some reason. I’ve tried every fix (reset, rebinds, map pings, save data clear and redownload off cloud, etc.) and nothing has fixed. Hi Gang. I've seen other posts about this but somehow this issue still remains in the game 3 years later with no workaround. I have fallen into the pit where you learn the force slam ability and are supposed to slam the two turrets. The prompt for the buttons to use Force Slam are there but if I try them, nothing happens. Yes I've held them down per instructions. Yes I've tried holding R1 then the force action button. Yes I've tried to re-map the buttons. Yes I've cleared by PS5 system cache. Yes I've changed the difficulty to Story and then died a bunch but the issue still persists. I can't go to a meditation point because it forced me down into an area I can't get out of, when the turrets kill me I just respawn in the pit with them again. There's no way to progress the game without starting completely over or loading an old save. 18 hours of progress down the drain. So frustrated, I was really enjoying it."An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later"
Trying to figure out what is going on with my copy of Jedi Survivor and Jedi Fallen Order. Both purchases on Steam around launch. Tried coming back to them around May the 4th for Star Wars day and was met with the error above. I've tried using EA app recovery. I've uninstalled, and reinstalled. Verified files as well as attempted to run as administrator and nothing allows me to launch the games. Was able to launch both of these games perfectly fine around when they launches but am not having such luck now. Hoping I can get any assistance possible to be able to play these games again. Ill add attachment next type I restart my PC because for whatever reason the error code won't pop up again on the EA AppGame Breaking Bug
I am stuck in the “climb the mountain to the observatory” mission, there is no ship, no enemies. I’ve played for hours and hours and it is not there at all. Does anyone know a number? I would like to get my money back and if not would like to sue for this false advertising and paying full price for a game that does not work. EA is awful, and should be shut down. I bought this game in April and played through the Coruscant chapter. The game was fine. However, a couple days ago when I tried to launch the game again and started playing the Koboh chapter, the game began crashing, and I mean every time. I always get this error "LoginId:76dfa07bdac4e8da49bb791aa456a48d Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION writing address 0x000000003c4470e4," and I have no idea why it happened. I managed to get to the first meditation point, but after that, the crash always occurred after roughly 3-5 minutes.Unable to use Force Focus
I am playing Jedi survivor on ps5. I am at the part where you are being shot at by 2 turrets and a locked door in front of you. The force focus just isn’t working at all. Can’t slam can’t do anything with it. I’ve tried resetting the controls resetting the console the game everything it just doesn’t work. Hello I’m stuck in the „travel to ceres base“ storyline. I progressed the story normally until Cordova waited for me in the elevator ( It didn’t go down ) so i walked away and the elevator went down now I’m stuck right before the ship in the veiled hangar and I can’t get to the overworld or get the elevator up? Even when pushing the button it doesn’t work please help this save feels dead…Can't open door
After the ninth sister fight the door that the robot on cals back needs to open,but the robot doesnt go,I press the d pad down for it to go as it says and the text that makes it go dissappears and it doesnt go,so im stuck there,I've tried restarting many times but everything is the same
Star Wars Jedi: Disappointment
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a game that has plenty of potential but falls short from the very beginning. Graphically, the game suffers almost throughout its entirety, whether performance mode is on or not. The game really suffers from many issues, so let's just say that it looks and performs like a title made for PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360. I wish I would have not spend my money on what feels and looks like an unfinished game. This is yet another common issue amongst AAA companies. Too many of these companies, including EA, are releasing buggy, broken, and unfinished games ( Battlefield 2042 ) and robbing gamers of their money. We don't want unfinished games or large amounts of patches that will eventually fix the game. We want a solid product right at launch day. If that promise can't be delivered, then keep your unfinished game and due right by the community that supports your company. As for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, I can not even play it long enough to enjoy it due to constant screen tearing, low quality graphics, bugs, etc. <span;>Star Wars Jedi: Falling Order was a much better game in many ways. Wish I could say that I hope these issues get resolved across all platforms, but honestly, I've lost all interest. Next time, I will not so easily give my money to an unfinished product.Game Proposal: The Mandalorian — Two Unique Gameplay Concepts That Fans Want!
Hi EA and Star Wars Team, I am writing this post all the way from South Korea! I recently started watching The Mandalorian Season 1 for the first time, and I am completely in love with the show. The world-building, the characters, and the atmosphere are just incredible. As a gamer, it breaks my heart that we don’t have a proper standalone console game dedicated to the Mandalorian yet. My friend and I were brainstorming how amazing it would be if EA or Respawn Entertainment created a game based on the series, and we came up with two unique concepts. I wanted to officially share these ideas as feedback here on Answers HQ! Concept 1: "The Bounty Hunter" (Single-player Open-World RPG) - The Core Loop: Players explore outer rim planets, accept bounty pucks from the Bounty Hunters Guild, track down targets across dangerous environments, and collect rewards. - The "Beskar" Upgrade System: Players start with rusty, mismatched, basic armor. By completing legendary and high-risk bounties, they earn Beskar ingots. Players can visit the Armorer to forge and customize their armor, helmet, and jetpack, which visibly upgrades their stats and appearance. - Combat: A gritty mix of tactical third-person gunplay (blasters, whistling birds) and gadgets (grappling hooks, flamethrowers). Concept 2: "This is the Way" (2-Player Co-op Adventure like 'It Takes Two') - The Core Loop: An asymmetric, heartwarming, and thrilling cooperation game featuring Mando and Grogu. - Mando’s Gameplay: Heavy action, intense shooting, using physical gadgets, jetpack traversal, and physically protecting Grogu from Imperial remnants or local predators. - Grogu’s Gameplay: Utilizing the Force to interact with the environment (lifting heavy debris, calming down wild beasts, opening tight or hidden spaces) and engaging in stealth elements. - The Synergy: Dynamic puzzle-solving where Mando distracts enemies or creates paths while Grogu uses the Force, creating a brilliant and cooperative experience. Star Wars fans all over the world, including here in Korea, are starving for a proper Mandalorian game. If EA brings this galaxy to life, it would easily be a Game of the Year contender. I'm onto the final phase of the fight with the ninth when it tells you to 'automatically parry most attacks...'. . Usually it would tell you to hold triangle on ps5 but it isn't telling me to hold anything and the game completely freezes. I have looked it up and tried everything but nothing seems to work. Help as I can't do anything and I feel like **bleep**. CheersCan't finish the ninth sister fight
