Game GFX (strange) higher load + crash with dynamic resolution on after update

My system: I7-6820HK, GTX1070, 32GB ram.

Before the update,

+/-60pfs with all settings on ultra except shadows on low and resolution scale was set to 134%, dynamic resolution scaling on (fixed stutter issue that I already had) the game ran and looked great both in single and multi-player! CPU load around 50%, GPU load 95%.

After the update,

same settings as above, the game CRASHES whilst in the main menu (<-return to Windows with no error message), not even whilst playing (as long as the dynamic scaling is on).

Since it was constantly crashing, I let the Origin app run a game repair, had no effect to the crashing. Via the Gforce experience app, I reset the game gfx settings to low->the game started, so I gradually put all my settings back to the ultra settings, until I reactivated the dynamic resolution option-> the game crashes yet again. Reset it again and the game starts, so the dynamic  resolution is the problem here!

Once the game starts, where I had a constant of around 60pfs, now the game struggles to reach 55fps, and drops constantly to 20-30pfs, so basically unplayable. CPU and GPU load are exactly the same as before the update. I had a higher FPS when setting the resolution scale back to 100%, the GPU load dropped to 80%, but the max pfs was just 75 and the game looked A LOT worse (before the update, scale at 100% the fps was 150+!?).

I don’t understand what you did with this update, it ran and looked great with some tweaking before, now it’s a choice between playing with a less beautiful looking game or playing with an average of 40pfs...For shame EA!
