The Community Manager has already confirmed the hotfix will be available for download at 10:00 AM UTC (so in about 30 minutes I guess).

Also a reminder if you switched your settings to DX12 as a workaround, we recommend switching them back via the in-game menu.

I can confirm that the update has been deployed for download. It is only around 330 MB in size. I have tested it and it works, I can enter and exit the game at will without any issues. :-)

if you changed direct x to 12, change it back to 11
not working for me with new patch, same error, freezing and if I go to desktop and back to the game it works for like 3 seconds and freeze again. please help.

After hotfix it still doesn't work. Game freezes on helmets picture and after like 4 minutes it crashes to desktop.
I had to wait all day to get back from work, but when I did and updated it, the game works perfect now and HOLY CRAP I LOVE IT
This crap is ridiculous Updated 3 times from not playing since launch and it still doesn't work! I regret ever paying money for this garbage.

My apex legends is stuck on the black loading screen, the one with an icon on the bottom right corner, this started happening after the most recent update.bthe seaskn 5 update. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
