Re: Unable to mute party member

+1 I have this issue consistently.

Platform: PC

Problem: Starting Battlefront II party causes voice chat to constantly broadcast to party members. No way to disable or mute when playing with a squad of 3-4.

First noticed the issue: December 20, 2020

Steps to reproduce: Open BF2. Invite friend. Instantly broadcasting microphone if Windows 10 allows apps to use microphone. Echoes caused if using 3rd party voice app (discord) Trying to disable ingame/inmatch is impossible. Only muting in menu is possible.

Notes: Inviting 3rd or 4th friend makes it impossible to mute the 3rd person unless one does party juggling (3rd person joins 1st person then leaves after being muted by 1st person. 2nd person joins muting 1st person then 3rd person joins back.

This perpetual mic with party chat requires muting the party EVERY TIME A PARTY IS MADE. Create **disable voice chat setting inmatch**/disable completely. Most people use 3rd party apps - this **causes echoes when playing with Discord** and the same party.

**This party voice chat issue has persisted for many years**, I have seen it mentioned in numerous forums with no permanent fix. All are temporary. Please fix DICE

Solution: Create inmatch setting to completely enable/disable voice chat AND mute party members. Alternatively, do not broadcast microphone without push-to-talk key.
