Cant connect to battlefront 2 servers pc
I can't login to the battlefront 2 servers.
I have tried to repair the ea app, reinstal it, reinstalled the game, cleared app cache, cleared dns cache, changed dns, no firewall and no vpn, and restarted more times than i can count but nothing works. I need a solution
- n game error codes are 770 (mostly), but also 726 and 3674:14 PM
- Can you try this? 1) Redownload the EA app. 2) When a prompt appears saying the EA app is already installed, click on "Repair". 3) Launch game.Gabriel Felipe
- ive done that like 20 times
- cleared out cache
- unistalled and reinstalled the game
- restarted pc
- I see. let me check with our studio managers to check for additional stepsGabriel Felipe
- ok

- before i did the repair on the app it used to launch on startup but now it doesnt
- im not sure if that has anything to do with it4:15 PM
- new in game code 7214:17 PM
- Do you use any kind of vpn? those errors appear directly when you try to open the app? or when you try to launch the game. or in- game?Gabriel Felipe4:19 PM
- no vpn
- i get those errors when i try to connect in game
- the ea app has been sending the "due to a stuborn issue...." ec 105
- i get in game codes 770, 721, 726, 3764:21 PM
- the error the ea app sends is: Something went wrong Due to the effects of a particularly stubborn issue, you will need to login again. error code: ec 105
- then it prompts me to restart the app. i do that. then it happens all over again4:23 PM
- i get a message also about the ea app not being able to sync. so i hit skip sync and restart
- no vpn, ive restarted the pc, the router, repaired the app, reinstalled the app, reinstalled the game, restarted the pc too many times to count along with after reinstalling the app/game4:24 PM
- it is the only game that doesnt connect. i also play f1 23 and that syncs fine mostly, although i have gotten messages saying there have been issues
- but i dont know what else to do about the app4:25 PM
- Okay, this is really specific. because all of those codes are related to connectivity issues between the app and the servers. but from the base network the app is working on, in this case. your network. I understand that your network is fine. however. it could be that some DNS base from your network provider is blocking EA app servers. which prevents the proper launch of star wars. also, any type of firewall/antivirus could cause that either. I will share some troubleshoot steps related to that. allow me a few minutesGabriel Felipe4:26 PM
- no firewall or vpn. i have already changed the dns settings4:26 PM
- Okay. thank you for the confirmation4:29 PM
- Currently checking for all the possible solutionsGabriel Felipe4:33 PM
- thank you4:33 PM
- I understand how frustrating it can be when you're unable to connect to Star Wars Battlefront 2, and it sounds like you've already tried many steps. Let me walk you through a couple of additional troubleshooting methods that might help, especially related to DNS settings and the EA App syncing issue4:35 PM
- Change DNS Settings: Open your network settings on your PC. Set your Primary DNS to: 8.8.8.8 (Google’s DNS). Set your Secondary DNS to: 8.8.4.4. Save changes and restart your router and PC. Reset Hosts File: Open Notepad as an administrator. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts. Ensure there are no custom entries blocking any services Clear DNS Cache: Open Command Prompt as Administrator. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
- Make sure there are no network blocks or firewalls preventing the app from syncing. Disable any third-party security software temporarily to see if it affects the connection. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, I recommend heading over to our forums, where the studio can review broader reports and provide more insight. I’ll provide the link for that below. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Launch-Error-EC-105-Fix/m-p/12812311 and you can create a bug report and paste this chat interaction if wanted to increase visibil;ity to find a solutionGabriel Felipe
- ive already changed the dns
- how do i open notepad as admin4:36 PM
- i dont even get the option to post anything on that forum4:38 PM
- You have to click on new topic to the right : https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/ea-app-bug-reports-en
- Open Start menu and type 'Notepad'. Right click on the program that appears in the search results, and click 'Run as Administrator'. You will need to click 'allow' when the User Account Control box pops upGabriel Felipe4:39 PM
- how do i clear dns cache?
- i keep getting erros when i try to open notepad as admin4:40 PM
- If you get an error. that would be something related to antivirus/firwall or windows account allowance. which is totally out of our hands. to clear the dns cache you need to open the CMD app. by writing cmd on the search bar for windows. and then you type ipconfig /flushdnsGabriel Felipe4:43 PM
- ive done the ipconfig/flush
- still doesnt work
