Can't disable double-tap to sprint

This bug has been in the game since release with reports being made at various times by various players ever since.

When it was last reported here the community manager was more concerned with locking the thread than actually addressing the issue, citing that there's no new content planned for the game:

Patching an issue is not creating 'new content'. It's fixing an oversight with existing content that has been left unaddressed.

The game is still being sold. Revenue still being generated. You can direct a resource to finally fix this.
