yes, my Sims have Autonomy on.

I have found that I can actually scrap these books to remove them and they will be deleted, so at least I'm not going to be flooded with the corrupt books. However, it's very annoying especially when a book is almost complete. I have had it happen on three different characters so it's not character specific.

Yeah, I believe I have experienced that issue once before. Hopefully they get around to finding a soulution for that issue sooner rather than later.
