Reaper event
I play on xbox. I’ve gotten to the quest where you have to apply the scare seeker challenge to your lot. The only issue is I cannot get it to show up at all. I’ve tried restarting my xbox, i’ve tried managing my world and doing it from there. I don’t really know what else to do but i’m just wondering if anyone else has had this same issue and has fixed it.
Grim Reaper event rewards keep resetting
I've now restarted the Grim Reaper event multiple times on my PS5 ... and as much as I enjoy gardening in the Sims, planting lilies and snapdragons over and over again is starting to get a little old. Why this is happening, I have no idea, but every time I save and leave the game, my event progress resets like I haven't done any of the tasks. My physical progress is still there, in that the points still show on the Grim Reaper event UI, I still have the reward items in my inventory, etc., but it's like it doesn't remember how I got there. I've noticed that there's a lot of attention being paid to this issue on PC, and several bug fixes have even been found already. Is anyone working on this from the console end of things?
Reaper rewards
I’ve tried playing the Ripper rewards event. I’ve only been able to complete week one. Week two completed the second quest line before I could complete the first quest line. The quest line disappeared and now we’re on week three and I have no quest lines. I have tried starting a new game doesn’t show up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled base game all 16 expansion packs, all 12 game packs, all 20 stuff packs, and all 33 kits. I’ve played the Sims for 20+ years and I have expected issues with the game but not like this. Can somebody please help. Thank you in advanceSims 4 Xbox One update/no ui/ saves disappeared
So here’s the full story. I think my sims updated a couple of days ago/maybe a week. I bought the Growing Together pack and noticed it was giving me issues loading the game where the items that come with the pack weren’t loading in. I got that issue resolved. But then these past few days the game has been giving me more and more issues opening. So I would click it on my Xbox and it would say “the Sims took too long to open” and would bring me back to my Xbox Home Screen. I didn’t think anything of it because after a lot of patience and restarting the Xbox it would eventually load. THEN all day yesterday it started giving me me issues where when I got out of build mode the ui would disappear and when I went back to the main menu it would just be a white screen but you could hear things in the background and again with a lot of patience, quitting the game, and restarting it it would work. And now TODAY I loaded my game up, again gave me issues opening, and when it finally opened the EA agreement thing popped up, made me adjust the screen (which I thought was weird) and the. bam! Game loaded up and all my save files are gone. Anyone having the same issue? I’m so upset and wanted to share my story in case anyone else is going through the same thing. I don’t know if there was a bug with the update but this sucks. I just spent 2 game sessions building my families dream home that they finally earned. 😩😭
New Update Deleted All of My Save Files
I just hopped on my Xbox One to check out the most recent updates and found that every single save file has been deleted. All downloaded content, thousands of hours of world-building and gameplay over the years - gone. What is this nonsense? Can they even attempt to fix this or am I permanently deleting this game? I’m pissed off beyond belief.
Game stuck on loading screen
For almost 2 weeks any time I try to load a saved game to play any household or after creating a new household once I hit play household my game gets stuck on the loading screen, the different tips load and the PlumbBob still rotates but the load bar doesn’t move past like 4/5th filled even after waiting hours. I can’t play any games now I thought with the new game update this would be fixed. I have entirely too much time and money invested in this game for me to not be able to play it. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Best Practices for Photos Xbox?
I have had a couple of instances in the past where the photos (and paint from reference pictures) that I take all turn black. Once it was associated with an Error Code 0 and destoryed my save file, but another time it didn't. Does anybody know what the "best practice" for handling the photos is so that this never happens again? Or where, exactly, the files go on an Xbox when I take a photo? Why would the photos turn black, and is there anything I can do to prevent it? I see that the Life and Death pack relies a lot on photos so I'm a little apprehensive about what might happen.My sims 4 won't start
So my sims 4 on my xbox one console won't allow me to enter the game since the update. No matter what I do the game won't register when I press the A button to start. I have tried literally everything. Things I have already tried multiple times would include: Resetting the game, resetting the console, resetting the controller, hard resetting the console, troubleshooting the Xbox one (no errors appeared and said all was fine with the Xbox multiple times) Therefore this is definitely a bug with the game, I spent years playing this game and I love it. So it absolutely breaks my heart when I can't even get the game to open to play the event. Since I am on an Xbox one console I can't use the same troubleshooting as a PC player. Please look at this issue and see if you can find a solution for it as it has rendered my game completely unplayable.
UI not working in game
For about 2 months now my game doesn't work, I can load into any saved and even create new ones but when I get into the game I can't click on the character and none of the ui works, the time doesn't change, I can't speed up the time, use and of the tabs like the 'needs' nothing seams to be working. I've uninstalled the game and redownloaded it, restarted my xbox but nothing resolves the issue, the game is unplayable.Get to work not working
OK I've had a lot of bugs with the sims 4 recently to the point where I've had to reinstall the whole thing twice but now it's saying that the get to work isn't loading, I've tried creating a new world and it's not working in that one either. I've reinstalled the pack more times than you could imagine. I even bought the the pack to make sure that I definitely owned it. Nothing is working and now my entire game is ruined just because a pack refuses to work. The worst part is that I can't download a mod to fix it because I'm on console so stuck with what I've got. If they're are any suggestions on what I can do to fix it other than the default 'turn it off and on again' approach it would be very much appreciated
Building and Create a Sim Bugs
Since the update I installed yesterday, the process of building buy and creating a sim has been difficult. When it comes to building, when I click on sections (e.g., flooring), I either get kicked out of the menu, or the items are invisible, and my cursor can't click on any item. For creating a sim, whenever I click on an item, I get kicked out of the item menu, or my cursor is unselected, and I have to move it around like a mouse pad. This is very frustrating and difficult on my end, and I wonder if anyone else is facing this problem. If so, have you been able to fix this, or is this a bug I have to live with until it gets fixed with a new update?
Buttom X doesn’t react
I need your help. I want to play “The Sims 4” on PS5. So I installed everything and download the game. But I can’t play! Evertytime I open the game, you have to press the button x to start playing. I can’t press it, it doesn’t react. But the problem is not the controller. In the playstore or while I was installing other games the button x worked perfectly. I also reseted the controller multiple times . I download the sims 3 times, but I still have this problem. Maybe someone can help me pls.
Sims 4 PS4 saves disappeared
I'm playing on playstation 4 and for some reason my Save file disappeared, I have never seen this before, I played everyday this week and the only day it keeps saving is August 12. I even try making a new save but it disappeared and I can't even repair it because I don't have that option on playstation 4. Is there anything I can do the next time I make a new save?Still unable to upload Library to the Gallery.
Hello, I've been using the sims 4 on ps5 and have been having this problem for a month now. Was really hoping this last update would have fixed this issue! It has not. It will not allow me to upload anything to the gallery. Instead it only uploads to the library and now after trying several times it will not even do that and just show a buffering wheel 24/7. There is no way to back out and closing the game is the only option. The only fix I have found in the past month is clearing the cache of uploads/downloads since mine have been error messages for at least 2 years. Not sure what causes that issue either. Clearing that is now doing absolutely nothing so not sure what to do. Really ruins that aspect of the game for me. It may be situational. Other things might be going up just fine. Perhaps it's this one lot atm. It's been just sims for me previously. I make only sims and upload them, but have had this problem sporadically. It's a rental lot size: 40x30 and it has 5 units. I obtained this lot from the gallery and am just uploading a fixed play tested version of the lot. So I'm pretty sure size and amount of decor is not an issue since it was originally from someone's gallery. Please help...Xbox Game Pass User For The Sims 4
I'm an Xbox Game Pass user and I recently purchased the For Rent pack and just today the world it came with the screen goes white and the game is unplayable until I reboot my game pass app. And the world is inaccessible. Every other world is fine just that one I click on and it goes blank. It used to be fine until I started building apartment buildings. I don't know if I broke the game or if there's a bug but I'd appreciate if anyone else has this issue or knows what's going on. Thanks.
