Re: Sims 2 Ultimate Collection Product Code

@RighteousPariah , I'm afraid you were scammed. The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection code support on Origin ended in October 2018 and there is no way to get the game digitally for the Windows OS. Even if you called EA Customer Support, they could not help you even if you have proof of purchase.

The only way to get the game for Windows OS is to purchase it on disks and to purchase an external disk drive to run the game. You can purchase the disks on Amazon, E-Bay, your local game store that sells used games or Goodwill/Salvation Army/thrift stores.

@dear-granny , I am guessing that you have the game installed on Origin? Is it simply Sims 2 or is it Sims 2 Ultimate Collection? If it is Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, then that includes everything that was released for Sims 2 including the Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs one of which is Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff.

Or do you have the game as a disk installation? Please let me know which it is.

@dear-granny , then you'll need to find a product code somewhere to be able to install the disk. Yard sales, thrift stores and game stores that sell used games are places to find copies of the game.

@dear-granny , something I need for you to clarify for me please. Are you having problems installing the game from the CD or are you looking for a code to install the CD?

@dear-granny , you're having problems installing the content from the disk correct? I think I understand now. 🙂

    1) Insert your Sims 2 CD/DVD into your disk drive and open up your local hard drive.

    2) Go to File, New, Folder.

    3) Name this folder "Disk Images."

    4) Go into the "Disk Images" folder and create another folder called "Disk1." If you're installing a version of The Sims 2 or an expansion/stuff pack with multiple disks, create folders for each disk. Label them "Disk2," "Disk3" and "Disk4." Note: It's important that you don't put a space in between "Disk" and the number you use.

    5) Open up "My Computer" and select your Sims 2 CD. If the autorun comes up, cancel it as well as the installation.

    6) Right-click The Sims 2 CD. Click "Explore."

    7) Click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window and choose "Select All." You can also press CTRL+A.

    8) Click on the "Edit" tab again and select "Copy." CTRL+C also works.

    9) Open up your "Disk1" folder. Go to the "Edit" tab and select "Paste." CTRL+V works as well. Continue until you've copied and pasted the information from all the disks into their appropriate folders.

    10) Find the autorun file in the "Disk1" folder and double click it. This should install the game as normal. When you are finished, you can delete the "Disk Images" folder.

    Tips

If you encounter any file transfer errors when copying and pasting, try cleaning your disk. If that fails, your disk is either scratched or corrupted.
