Note that if you have any old sims content, you might want to register it and get upgraded to the Ultimate Collection.
@EA_David If re-released for free again, would there be any chance of a Mac version? and, if no, would that because of a lack of demand or another reason?

If we do have any Sims 2 content, how would we register them? I have tried to put my expansion packs onto Origin by adding it through the "add game", but it always tells me that it is invalid. I would love to see this go back free as I did not find out about it until it was over.
