Re: Sims Medieval Loading Music Won't Stop

I know this a very old post but for anyone who still plays Sims Medieval like me and runs across this issue, I have a fix for it.

  • While playing your game with the annoying nonstop loading music still playing, go into the game options and check the MUTE box next to music and click save. The music does not stop until you hit save.
  • Finish playing whatever quest you are currently on with the music muted. If you were to unmute the music while still on your current quest, it is still there playing loud and nonstop, drowning out other game sounds.
  • When the quest is complete and you get your trophy, save the game. Do not start another quest. Just save and then quit. (I always use save as, not save & quit, it seems to cause less problems).
  • Restart your game, you should notice the music is not playing as your game starts.
  • Pick a new quest, start the game, play for a bit, about a sim days worth of activities, and then with game open, go and unmute the music. You should no longer hear the loading music, but the normal background music thats supposed to be playing and all is good.
  • Save your game and wa-lah! It's worked for me more than once, hopefully it will work for you too!
