How long do you usually stay on other sites with the game minimized ? I haven't seen this in a long time myself and had it quite frequently before.
Could you also post your basic computer specs such as Processor, RAM, Graphics card ?
Are your drivers and the game updated ?
Everything is updated. I normally give it a good minute or two, but it won't come back.

Does it matter how long you have it minimized ? When I had the issue it would only occur if I had the game minimized for 5 min or longer.
I think it's definitely to do with CPU usage. I have never had it happen with just Sims running (and whatever background stuff I usually have on, like Origin, Skype and Steam). Every time it happened to me I either had FRAPS, Photoshop, Windows Movie Maker, or multiple internet tabs open (sometimes several of these at once).

Hello all,
We would like to gather some more information if you encounter white screens after Alt+Tabbing. Could you please post a link to a .rar or .zip archive of the following files?
Simply upload the archive to a 1-click hosting service like dropbox and contact me by PM with the Link and the information.
The files/info we would need - the files can will be located in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4:
- lastCrash.txt (if it exists. If there is more than one, please include all of them.)
- lastException.txt (if it exists. If there is more than one, please include all of them.)
- lastUIException.txt (if it exists. If there is more than one, please include all of them.)
- Config.log
- The entire saves folder
- Are you playing in Windowed, Full screen or Windowed full screen mode?
Thank you in advance!
