Re: [FIXED] Can't save/move because game thinks a Sim is aging up

@MTB1989

merged your post with bug report on the issue.

Does it happen again if you close the game and restart ? You will loose your progress you made since saving last but unless you find out which Sim is giving the issue, there's not much else you can do.

    Hi y'all,

    After much trial and error and patience, I was fast forwarding when I finally saw the build option become un-grey.

    To sum it up, I aged one of my sims to young adult, and afterwards I found that I couldn't save. Well I couldn't use cheat codes, either, which made me do a nice little gasp because I had been playing for 4 hours and had two of my sims reach their respective aspirations, but I digress.

    Perhaps it was a combination of a lot of things, but I think the main trick is to turn off automatic aging of sims not on your lot, which is found in the menu option under "gameplay." Then fast forward for a day and a half or two in sims' time and pray a little. Should help y'all out.

    The fact that this thread has ten pages and EA still has no clue what to do with this is pretty troubling.

    In any case, good luck to anyone else having this issue.
