@BryonyRae I appreciate you taking a look. I was just coming back to tell @crinrict that the glitch is present in a new game, so it's still an issue after today's patch. As a matter-of-fact, the family wasn't home when I sent a sim to visit and the sim still disappears in front of the hole where the door should be and remains invisible while standing there.
If I understood the thread you indicated to merge this report with, if I change the stairs so they don't go across the entire porch area the glitch won't be there. I'll give that a shot even though I've not ever worked with the stair tool. LOL, I accepted long ago I can't build and so appreciate the sim's building community. You and others are so talented and I get to reap the benefits of your hard work. Just know it is appreciated. I hope you feel better soon.
