Had no issues with this just now so I believe this to be fixed.

Are you playing with a different toy the second one ? Does the first one register at all ?
Hello, I'm currently running into the same issue as the OP. I've tried having my child play with all of her toys in a row and none of the toys register as being played with for the aspiration. I'm stuck on 2/3 toys played with.
- @limeylyds As the toys have a tendency to get stuck on toddlers atm, that might be an issue.
Could you check again when those issues are resolved ? Not sure how long the game has had the play with toy bug, but it is still a problem. Had my sim play with every toy and not one registered as being played with. Not sure how to get past this
