Is it just objects or do no commands work ?
Are you using mods in your game ?

No mods are installed. Just the base game, Outdoor Retreat and Get to Work. The only way to move things in the world is to command my Sim to do it, and then they only do it sporadically, i.e. it falls off their queue of things to do, even if they are in a good mood, Very frustrating. I have to go into Build mode to move anything, and this does not work for my Sims inventory.
