Re: [FIXED] Rare MySim trophies missing from time capsules

We have a telemetry event that fires every time a collection is completed. So I can tell you for sure that the MySims trophy collection was completed (meaning the user found every single trophy, and got the achievement for completing the collection) 80 times in the month of August.

So finding these trophies may be extremely rare, but they're definitely there. People are finding them. Just keep looking! 🙂

I have been and am still having this exact same problem. No offense, but wouldn't using any kind of cheats to complete the collection also send the same completion message to you? There are lots you can download from the exchange that have the rares to buy, as well as being able to spawn them with both a cheat code and, I believe, buy debug, and 80 per month could easily be doing this. And even IF they are completing the collections legitimately, when there are posts saying there are 2 million sims players per month, yet only 80 people a month are finishing the set, it's a ridiculously low number.

I wish I could help, but after the patch I was having problems with my game, and decided to start fresh and mod free. Made a new game, and like I usually do, deleted my old save files to keep things cleaned out. If I end up doing a bunch of collecting and end up in the same boat with the MySims trophies, I'll try and stop by here and upload my save.Thanks for replying and looking to investigate; I can tell you that after hours and hours and hours (seriously), I have never completed the collection without some kind of workaround since the fist year or two the game was out. Collector trait, treasure maps, haven't been able to find the rares by digging.
