It works for lactose containing batter.
I removed the Simple living trait and repaired my game, but still can't make lactose-free recipe with prepped ingredient in my inventory.
@Lilyputienne You're right. I also tested it in my game and with Simple Living active, the Lactose Free Batter can only been used to make Lactose Free Yorkshire Pudding (Cooking menu) and Lactose Free SimCity Cheesecake (Gourmet cooking). Waffles are not included.
I tested on PC, without Mods, with cache clean and game repaired.
Sure, especially since we can prepare Lactose-Free Batter, which cannot be used, except for Lactose Free Yorkshire Pudding and Lactose Free SimCity Cheesecake. Too bad !
@gooochyeee - I don't have any Lactose Intolerant Sims, but that sure sounds like a nuisance. I agree they should have options for it. Bad enough they miscoded the Plain Waffles as not Vegetarian, but to have no waffle options for Lactose Free Batter? Very unfortunate oversight. Seems they need to do some tweaking on the new cooking options.
