Re: Tips: Throwing the best parties

It's awful when the party gets cancelled, you just get an error message saying the party is no longer valid... it means you can't talk to anyone, or see other people's Sims that were supposed to come to the party... you get the money though...
I am absolutely paranoid now, so I level up to ten as fast as I can, without leaving the house/game...

    I have noticed that friday evenings are best too host a party.

    Btw is there statistics on the average age of the simsmobile player?
    E.g. 20something yo are not home (usually) 9pm on a friday.
    The younger kids are asleep by that time, and would probably play afternoons after school on a weekday. Etc etc
    If you know any socalled offline ppl that play you can make a deal with them.

    So even if i noticed frodats or even saturday mid afternoon to be the best time, the stats are importent in someways

    @billiethesun That sounds plausible. I haven't paid attention to comparing the EA advertising times during the week to the times during the weekend. I'm sure their chosen timeframe takes into consideration demographics and ecographics (is that a word??)—the timeframe when most people likely-to-spend-money are online.

    I usually host a my parties on Tuesday or Wednesday, sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening.  I like to do it then because many of the other people on my friend list throw their parties on the weekend.  Since you can only attend 2 parties, you don't want to throw yours at the same time as all of your friends.  They usually hit level 10 within minutes of starting the party.  What matters most to the success of your party is when the people on your in game friends list are playing and not attending other parties since those are the people who see your parties automatically.

    @BlueWizardRob Excellent strategy. I thought to ask the AHQ friends here when they'll throw their parties so I can plan accordingly. Almost like real-life scheduling. 😄

    @BlueWizardRob...Is your friend list full? Got room for one more??
