I'm also experiencing all of the issues previously mentioned by people before me. I've had GTW since release and I don't recall these issues being this critical back then.

Hmmm... Is there a point posting that I have the same issue as well? My very first Arrest I did blindly, because the clues did not match the suspect at all. Fortunately for me I caught the right person because when I interviewed the other people around, they literally pointed the person. Who was not wearing jeans, a teen nor had brown hair. The second I had the same experience. The third was right though-- kinda. It said the suspect was supposedly male, but turned out to be a female. All other evidence seemed right though. Wouldn't have suspected still without asking other sims in the area, who will say something like: "Isn't that her right there".

I play on PC, and no CC in my game.This thread has been open two years so I'm guessing there is little point in pointing out I also have this issue but I'm so frustrated it's worth a try! I can't find a fix and am annoyed at paying for the expansion pack then only being able to play two of the three careers. This is the first expansion pack I've bought for the game (for the record I don't use any custom content) and I'm not impressed. Please fix this EA!!!!!
I'm doing the Not So Berry Challenge and for that you have to be in the detective career for one of the generations. Unfortunately I also have the suspect not showing up bug and it's ruining the challenge for me. I can't believe this has been broken for 2 years!!! Why aren't game breaking bugs being fixed?
- Same. Im just going to change it to the secret agent career because this is never going to be fixed
