Re: Lock camera on sims while in TAB mode

@jpkarlsen what? Why wouldn't that make sense? If you lock camera on sims you can follow them anywhere, but with all the UI, now, what I said is to not have the UI while locking the camera on sims (the right clic option)

It would not make sense because it would not be 1st person view as you said you wanted. It looks like what you really want is Free Camera view found in Camera controls in the top right corner.

@jpkarlsen I didn't say I want 1st person camera, that's exactly what I don't want. I said, I want the TAB mode with the locked camera on sims. 1st person and TAB mode are two completely different camera modes. What I'm talking about is not loosing the right clic effect (locking camera on a sim) while in TAB mode

Ah I thought you meant shift - tab which is 1st person view. Notice that pressing tab in 1st person view removes the UI elements. I think that is the view that you are looking for.

@jpkarlsen That is not what I want. Pressing TAB in any mode will remove the UI, however, the lock camera on sims doesn't work in TAB mode. I don't know if you understand what I mean, but in live mode, when you right-clic on the portrait of a sim, the camera will follow that sim, but if you press TAB, you'll be in free camera mode BUT the camera won't longer follow your sim around.

If you choose to follow a sim in 1st person it will continue to follow that sim when you press TAB.

@jpkarlsen I fell like I'm repeating myself, I don't want to follow them through 1st person camera; I want to keep the 3rd person camera while following my sim without the UI. That's why I created this post in feedback and ideas cause the option to do so with the camera is still absent from the game.

Unfortunately the tip I wrote only works in 1st person view. If you tried it in the default 3rd person view it unfortunately stops following the sim around when you press TAB.
