The worst part is, they barely added any new animations or interactions, just some pointless menus and labels that don't really change anything. Instead of enriching the interactions to make the visuals more engaging, it now feels more like a text-based adventure.
They really need to dial down the public displays of affection too. People necking in the library, stargazing on every available bench. And get rid of the "Romantic Introduction", too. We already have a Flirty one and that's overused. I don't need strangers walking up to me and throwing love-heart shaped rose petals all over me. If that happened to me IRL it would ilicit a very hostie reaction.
I'm not a big fan of mods becuase they tend to be there to fix stuff that shouldn't need fixing, but I've now installed MCCC with the sole purpose of turning off automonous flirting altogether, and that's only prtially successful.
It's too much. Especuially for a pegi 12 game.
