Re: [FIXED] Sims wear random clothes when they work

There's careers that don't have a dedicated work outfit.

I'll do some testing.

(I assume your new tests are without mods/cc) ?

Would you be willing to share your save with me ? If so, please upload to some file sharing site and PM me the link.

Of course. Thank you first for give you so much trouble.

Before I upload those files for you.

I want to ask you some questions.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    Should I change my sims's name?(Chinese > English)

Should I change whole game default language?

Do you need all save files or only one?

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    About the four save files.

I will rename them in English.

I'll add an annotation to the save files. Example : Third test with new f.sim, new pet.

Only one save in the four save is more special.

Because She's not the new character I created for test.

And I've already triggered the bug in the save. (And I keep the work outfit.)

You don't need to rename. It's best if they stay as they were when you had the bug.

I would just prefer the one that never had mods.

All my save files now don't have start with mods now.

I give you one of the best I think.

This is my third test with new sim and new pet.

I've tested it before. When she got promoted to Code Monkey.

She will wear random, weird work outfit after back home.

Because I didn't save it at that time.

So I put the time of the save before she was ready to go to work.

    (It still triggers after this.)

And I also gave you other two pictures.

I know this may not help.
It's just that I'm curious. If you can please help me to dispel the problem.

These are my first test and second test.(When they promoted to Code Monkey.)

I just really want to know their work outfit are correct or wrong.

Here's the link. Thank you very much.

So I tested your save. She went to work in her everyday clothing, then came in her everyday clothing and was promoted. FF through the weekend. Went to work on monday in her everyday clothing and she came back in her everyday clothing. I think that's how it should be for the career.

Really unsure what's with the random clothing for you.

After I read your message. I'm going to test the game save.

When I started Origin. I found the sims 4 have update.

After that I opened the game and tested it twice.

As you said. she just wear daily clothes and came back and the day she got a promotion also.

Perhaps the updated patch fixes it?

I feel very happy but very confused also.

By the way , have you seen the pictures I attached to the file?

If it's normal, they're all going to go to work wearing their daily clothes.

The moment of the two pictures. They were promoted.

And then the clothes were changed. That's why I took the picture.

They all do same career and same tier.(same as the save I gave you.)

But the save I gave you. If the problem still exists.

She will wear more random and weird clothes when she got promoted In my anticipation.

I really appreciate you taking the time to test.  Although no results were obtained.

It seems like the problem just disappear with the new update patch.

I think I should delete all the save later. Before I come back to play.

    Thank you very much Crin.

So now I pick "Accept as Solution" on your last message, right?

Is give XP is a reward for helper?

I'm not 100% but afaik, there are careers where you just go to work in your everyday clothing.

If the issue is solved for you, yes you an mark it as solved by accepting a post as solution.

As for XP, you can give that to any post you thought was helpful (as a reward for the helper). It's a bit like a 'like'
