Re: [FIXED] Sims sit somewhere else or stand instead of eating at table

@unseenlarks The worst issue for me is they don’t even sit down on the chair even if i press sit, they all just keeps standing there in front of the counter like zombies. Or they go outside in the snow all the way over to the pool in the other corner of the lot, change into swimwear and sit down on the edge of the pool to eat. IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER.

But not sitting down at the table. Everything else but sitting at the table right next to them.
It’s gotten to the point where I can’t play anymore because I get so frustrated that I almost break down and cry.

Have all the packs, only mod is mccc and simvasions mod to stop naps from other worlds to stick on you. And on PC.

i've started playing with autonomy off, since i kept having to tell them where to go/what not to do all the time anyway. no mods, repaired game. all my households do this. expensive tables and chairs, cheap chairs, sofas, big or small. doesn't seem to make a difference. they will ignore them.

don't stand. so close. to fridge. 😉

  • @unseenlarks I always play with autonomy off for that reason too. I just play with it off so they don't do what I don't want them to do. Did it since I got The Sims for GameCube several years ago (like sometime before GameStop stopped selling GameCube games).

@AprilTheSimmer96--i liked autonomy on (for Sims i'm not controlling), because they used to do more in the background as i focused on another character.
now, as they don't finish actions or just ignore them, i have to keep switching back to redirect them anyway. so might as well have it off. of course i always need to remember to give them something to do.
