@simsplayer818 I can confirm that the rocks and dig spots do respawn in the Grotto overnight.

I noticed that around 1 - 3 AM on Midnight that they respawn there. Maybe this will be the case witon every lot with crystal/metal spawners?

But this only happens when I'm currently on that lot at that time. Which is actually not good since it forces me to have a sim wait there until the crystals and metals come back.

Can this somehow be improved that metals and crystals respawn out of the lot? Maybe have a hidden timer programmed in which counts down for a specific spawn location and then once it's zero the dig spots respawn when you're loading into that exact lot?

To be fair, playing with the Crystal Creations Pack is a bit tedious when it comes to collecting the ingredients for the jewelry. Especially that rainbow crystal I am growing nuts over since I searched every possible world (except the ones which DLC's I don't own) and didn't find it yet.

At this point I have a full grown crystal tree but I fear it won't give me the rainbow crystal so soon because it's on medium quality.

But seriously. If we are meant to be collecting for the good stuff, at least the quantity of dig spots should either be increased or the respawn logic of those dig spots should be improved.

    @DimenariusI've been testing this everywhere and am finding the same thing as you mention. The spawning time has changed to much earlier than it was before adding Crystal Creations and/or associated patches.
    So they are spawning but I have to be there to catch it. If I'm late they won't spawn until the next morning. I'm trying to get my Sim to each place by 2am.
    The only place that's now not affected by this for me so far (although it has been before) is the Science lab which is normal.

    Edit: on the crystal tree. I've got 3 magnificent quality and the crystals vary but the rarer ones appeared at magnificent quality. Keep fertilising it every time it needs fertilising. One of my Sims dogs got sick and produced some interesting fertiliser that worked really quickly! It was golden.

    For the rare crystals I would suggest planting a tree. Once the tree gets to magnificent level, you will be able to find the rare crystals like Jet and Rainborz. Use the Great Soil lot trait and fertilize the tree as much as possible that will help evolution.
