I somehow managed to make it to level 10. Save before you go to a crime scene. If it works get ALL the evidence, pictures, and interviews you can. I also had the trait where I learned all of the other sims traits just by introducing myself. That helps with locating the suspect.

Yes i have had the same issue. I know now that its not just me. I love paying for expensive packs and them not working for the first month of getting them. For now on I'm only buying packs if they are on sale.

This problem still seems to be occurring. I'm now stuck at the crime scene and can't do anythign either there or to get back.I have previously visited crime scenes and they have behaved as expected.One possible factor was that the chief decided to die just as I'd selected to visit the crime scene (and I see travel is blocked due to an "event" being in progress)

It is almost as it I have visited the area whilst not working, I cant search for clues, get witness statements or get to return to the police station no matter which way I try. I have started the Detective career and have a task of visit crime scene. When I have selected travel to crime I am not able to complete any tasks or return to the police station.
It is almost as it I have visited the area whilst not working, I cant search for clues, get witness statements or get to return to the police station no matter which way I try. I have to remain at the scene until the workday finishes
Has anyone else had this issue? Or any advice on how to resolve

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start the Detective career and try to complete task visit crime scene. Once at the crime scene will not allow to search for clues speak to witnesses or return to the station. Have to wait for the working day to finish or leave work early
What happens when the bug occurs? Cannot progress with the daily tasks needed for the job and cannot return to the police station.

I'm having the same problem as above. I do not have the option of return to station when I click on my sim. In the corner it says to go to a crime scene but I'm already there. My only option like above said it to wait or leave work early.

Hey everyone,
So I just got get to work on my Xbox One. Everything went fine during the tutorial for the detective career. Now however, when I go to a crime scene I can't collect evidence or take a witness report. The options are not there. I also cannot leave to go back to the station. I have to either leave work early or stand there until my shift ends. I tried making a new SIM and starting over but the same problem happens. I can't get promoted now cause I have to interrogate a suspect but as I said above, I can't get to that part yet. Any help?

I'm having the same issue and it is really annoying. You cant leave and so you have a bad day on the job and then your performance goes down.
