Re: [ARCHIVED] Terrain paint disappears/changes after leaving lot

Replying to myself...

I've been playing around this morning & painted, saved, & closed out of the game same as I did before & the paint I just did stayed. This time it wasn't layered with other paints though?

This happened to me for the first time last night. Because I'm still waiting for some mods to update, I decided to start a vanilla save using no CC or mods, and start rebuilding all of the worlds. I even challenged myself further to not use bb.moveobjects which is normally my crutch. I bulldozed a lot in Willow Creek that I wanted to build a townhouse on, and erased the terrain paint that was already on there. I did layer at least 3 different paints for the first time, and I don't usually go into that much detail. I think I even use different levels of fade for each paint. The terrain paint disappeared while I was still building as in I had not closed out of the game at any time, though I'm not sure if it was at a point where I had saved and left the menu up for a while to let my dog outside, or if it was while I was actually building. I was really focused on perfecting the lot so it took me a while to realize that the reason I kept thinking it looked off was because all the terrain paint was gone. I WISH I had thought of submitting my save before moving on, but I was super focused on finishing that build. I redid the paint and just moved on.
