Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 55.105.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game and open talent points book. But i think that is something that happens randomly..For explame it may work fine at first (as it did for me), but after a while it will just stop working. And then completely completly stop when it stops.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't open talent points book at all! First I clicked on it, and then it opened, but it was completely blank! Nothing was there. I closed it and tried to open it again but when i click on it nothing happens..And now i cant even open it. It drives me crazy because I have talent points now and I cant do anything with them..Also when i just started playing, ofcourse, I wanted to see some of that new stuff, and then it was possible to open and it was showing all things you cando with talent points and everything. so ofcourse I didnt expect something like this to happen in game later.
What do you expect to see? Talent points book to open working and not to be blank (or not be able to open).
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I was so exicited to play witches and now I cant even play them propely ☹️

Also i do use custom content (only cc and mccc, not other mods beside cc), and yes i tried moving all my mods folder and I still couldnt open that talentpoints book..I also have MCD and Sims 4 studio so I am always fixing what needs to be fix, and always check what is broken or conflicts the game so I can delete if there is something...So im not having any last exceptions a long time from now, because I make sure everything is cleared. Oh and sorry on my bad english 😃

    I’ve been having the same problem. Even when I remove all my mods I still cannot access the perks menu...

    I was testing the new updated 6.5.0 MCCC mod, I was having the same problem with spell book wouldn't open and corrupted saves.. also, cheating the systems like adding points or using traits.equip_trait trait_Occult_WitchOccult_BloodlineWeak or any of this could corrupt the save or glitch the spell book from opening, and leveling panel glitch on the bottom of needs. this person also gave a warning 

    https://sims-online.com/sims-4-realm-of-magic-cheats-spellcaster-witch/   will break your game.. it did to me.. I remove MCCC and  don't cheat the systems, remove any cache files and game is working as it should... I'm not saying is a fix for all the bugs.

    I'm having the exact same problem. Cannot open talent perks window at all. How frustrating! Game is unplayable if I can't use the perks. I currently have 3 points. Keep clicking, nothing. I have ALL packs and absolutely no cc; using my brand new gaming computer. Thanks again EA ☹️

    P.S. Didn't use ONE cheat at all on this play. Not even moveobjects.

    Wow, that's very nice of you. Unfortunately, I deleted the game and haven't touched it. I will try another vanilla game and see if it happens again. If it does I'll PM you the link.

    Same here!!! I didn't have this problem when I began playing the new occult Sims, but now it's gotten to the point where it appears on every other household. It's getting really annoying, so let's hope it gets fixed soon! Fingers crossed. 😇

    I do have this bug too. My spell caster was cursed once, but I'm not sure when it started happening. It happens when her spell caster rank levels up and she gets additional talent points (she's a virtuoso). However she gets the talent points + the talent points that were already spent and she is downgraded to master again.... Usually restarting the whole game helps with the talent book not showing and bar not moving to virtuoso, but only until she levels up again after already achieving virtuoso.....
