I know it's likely you won't see this message, but I have the same issue and have seemingly tried everything. Where did you delete these dll files and did you reinstall them using the redist in the TF2 folder?

I would like to know also since I bought this game and I don't get anything. Any ideas on what could fix it? 

I really want to play but this is pissing me off that I tried everything. Restarting my computer, reinstalling it, cleaning up my PC, and more. I just want to be able to open it up and be able to enjoy it ;-;

You're not seeing any error messages at all when it happens? It's just trying to launch, and then nothing happens?

Yep that is what is happening and have been happening for a while. Seeing if I delete the entire folder will help since when I checked it I saw how it's only private. Like in BF4 to play with others you have to make it public(hard to describe and explain but if you were to try to play BF4 without doing that then punkbuster would kick you off).

But could it be my CPU not wanting to run it? I have a AMD 6300 dual core. Sorry about the late reply. I have been busy lately and trying to figure out about payments and jobs and such. Any help would be amazing. Cheers!

So I decided to wait until I get upgrades because my CPU only has two cores. I'll try again when I get my new CPU and motherboard and other stuff too. I uninstalled it and I didn't get back some of my GB. So I have no idea where those went.

But thanks for the help and you guiding me about it!

I am having the same problem, when I look in task manager it is under Background processes, it is always 60% of my CPU. Nothing else I have tried has worked... any help?

Hi @glennupa,

Can you try clearing out your Origin cache to see if that helps at all?  For more info on how to clear the cache check out the Help Website.

Also try a Clean Boot to see if there any programs messing with Titanfall 2 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or NVIDIA Experience.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Greetings, so I'm having the same issue as Murk40 was having, basically my game won't launch at start up, everything happened as happened to that guy... I was wondering if I could have some aid because this is getting annoying since i've reinstalled the game, made a clean boot and so on... I've also put my DxDIag or whatever in there...

Were you able to try deleting those same .dll files that they mentioned before? Did that not help in your case?

They're .DLL files that are used by DirectX in Windows. If there is an issue with those files you can try downloading DirectX from Microsoft to see if that helps to fix it.

Ok so heres the thing I can access and see DirectX on the diagnostic tool, but i cannot see any .dll files nor am I able to see any local files about directX

Only this, this is how far I can go, no .dll files... (Sorry, this is in Portuguese)

I read through the DxDiag you attached, and in the Diagnostics section I noticed some errors with Windows system files. It looks like a Windows .dll related to the auto-updater has been crashing. This may point toward some problems with some of the system files in Windows, and I'm wondering if that may be related to the issues you've been seeing with Titanfall 2. 

When you've got the chance could you try running the Windows System File Checker to test and see if that helps at all? For more info on how to run it check out the Microsoft support website. Let me know how that goes when you can. Thanks!

Alright so here's the deal, I did as you said, I went my way and I ran  Windows System File Checker to test and see if that helps, I will now restart my pc and see the results!

Alright, so I've restarted my pc and it didn't work, I've tried to run both origin and TTF2 as admin and to no avail. It doesnt appear to launch the game properly, since in the task manager it says that is consuming something about of 43% of my CPU but yet, no game, also tried to repair once more and did not work, hmmm... Am I doing something wrong?

What happens if you start up your PC in a Clean Boot before you try launching TF2? If there's something else running on the PC that might be preventing it from launching that may help to get around it.
