I repaired game in origin after removing mods, but I didn't delete the localthumbcache.package thing. I will try that
Just tested it again after removing localthumbcache and repairing after taking out mods folder. Still popped up as christmas eve, even though it's supposed to be "boog" (test holiday)
@millers72011 : Hmm. What kind of mods are you using?
Only mccc, ui cheat extension ,and basemental. I went to the discord for basemental and mccc with my LE's that mentioned the calendar and they interpreted it as an EA issue.
Oh, the only other thing I did was go on sims 4 studio to remove the outfit info in my save. This was to remove the trend that I set with a sim. I looked for solutions on here and found the issue I was having. A user on here showed how remove the trend using sims 4 studio. I doubt it's related but it's the only other thing I've done recently that could've caused a problem.
@millers72011 : Ah, okay. Thanks for the info. 🙂
Also my sims cannot go to work because my game is stuck thinking it's Christmas Eve.
- crinrict6 years agoHero+@millers72011 Have you been fiddling around with the time speed setting in MCCC ?
No I have not used that function in MCCC. It's at whatever is the default setting
- crinrict6 years agoHero+@millers72011 I checked your save and you have a stuck XMas event on your save.
Unfortunately, I got no idea how to unstuck it at this point but I'm still trying :D Thanks for your help!
I think before the xmas thing it was stuck on purge for a bit..it got unstuck when I changed the season length but when I tried that this time it didnt unstuck the xmas event.
- crinrict6 years agoHero+@millers72011 Yeah, I couldn't get it to unstick either.
The game is spatting errors about a faulty time off time.
If you happen to have a backup from before it got stuck, that's probably easiest.
