Sure, it’s the 702 Zenview Apartment in San Myshuno (Fashion District) and the ladder is stuck right next to where the front door is placed.

Thanks 🙂 Yes, completely see the issue and definitely seems like a bug as the ladder cannot be grabbed after selecting another object and then going back to it. Apartments are really buggy in general. I bulldozed 701 ZenView and completely managed to break the apartment.

Ah yes, I tried the bulldozer and it just left me at an infinite loading screen. 😞 Probably lucky it didn’t work. Haha!

  • @CGrant56

No, I haven't. I'll try it but I have a feeling it might end up like how the bulldozer won't work! I'll give it a shot and let you know what happens.

  • @CGrant56 Okay, I tried replacing a room from the gallery and BB mode and it doesn't work. It tells me it can't place rooms outside the property even though it clearly fits in the space. I can place smaller rooms inside the apartment, I just can't put it near the wall where the front door is. I can also add walls around the ladder and the front door and delete them, but it seems the game just decided the ladder is a permanent part of the apartment and as far as it's concerned, it's always been there. LOL!

Ok, I tried again with that apartment and got exactly what you did.  Another helper pointed out something to me that might help fix your issue so here's a link that may give you some ideas on getting that apartment to accept some changes that might fix your ladder issue.

So I would love to hear if you have any success with this.

    Hope this helps.

  • @CGrant56 Hi! I tried their suggestions and deleting the neighbor stairs and spamming the delete button but no luck. That ladder is superglued to the program. Lol!

Update: While working on the Zenview apartments, I noticed my other apartment (701 Zenview) has an inventory of stuff from the townsquare next door. I never bought foodstalls or trashcans and the foodstalls seem to be debug items because they have no price. Here's a screenshot of what I found. I'm kinda new to bug forums so anyone with experience here, should I make a separate bug report or can I add on to this? Thanks.

@LazyCatCorner  I assume that you have sims living in that apartment.  Otherwise, you shouldn't be able to even open the household inventory.  But those items certainly shouldn't be there.  So it may be related to an EL NAP Caring is Sharing and your sims stole them and that's why they show up there since they can't go in a sim's personal inventory.  I'm not up to speed on that yet so I'm guessing more or less.

The CMs here prefer separate bug reports for different issues so you probably should make a new one if you want it pursued.  Entirely up to you if you or don't.

  • @CGrant56 Thanks! Yes, that home is one of the households I play with. I'll probably add another report then and see what happens.
