[NEEDS INPUT] [DU] Can't Interact With Mechanisms/Computer Chips After Sim Dies

What happens when the bug occurs? The mechanisms and computer chips are added to the household inventory. When dragged out of the household inventory, they look like the mixology book. The computer chip or mechanism cannot be interacted with or dragged into another Sim's inventory in live mode.
What do you expect to see? Mechanisms and computer chips to be used by other members of the household if a Sim dies.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Steps to finding the bug:

1. Create a household with more than one Sim
2. Have a Sim in that household craft a mechanism and a computer chip
3. Have the Sim with the mechanisms and computer chips in their inventory travel to a community lot
4. Have the Sim die on the community lot
