Re: Controller buttons not working in-game despite being pressed

@viscagala13 I would advise you to disable settings that could potentially impact performance. Look up what settings people are running for optimal performance. I know I had several issues when I first launched and have since fixed most of the issues I was having.

    @Izzy_FUT_Dubs I already changed some settings, I changed the graphics mode setting from enhanced visuals to favour resolution.
    And I saw somewhere that I should turn off the reaction time modifier setting and I tried that too but nothing changed.

    @viscagala13 did you also disable the in-game overlay features like playstyles, power shot zoom, etc.? A lot of that new stuff slows down the game and or can affect player input. Also, make sure your competitive settings are configured for best input results -- how you change to a player, whether you want it to be ball relative or player relative, etc.

    @viscagala13 I prefer ball relative. I'm sorry you're having these issues, we have been constantly complaining to EA about the servers from our end as well. We hope that they'll be able to work on their servers to provide a better experience, but that's only a hope. No official word has been spoken about the ordeal.

    @Izzy_FUT_Dubs  When I did a test on PingPlotter for the German server closest to me, I saw that I had a problem on the last hop, that is, on EA Servers. The game is really unplayable, the balls I throw go in the wrong directions, the skill moves I want to do are not detected and my player does not perform the skill move even if it appears in the input overlay. It's really ridiculous, a big nonsense. There are occasional freezes when entering the opponent's penalty area and this is probably related to the fact that the most data usage is around the penalty areas because I noticed that the areas where I get the most packet loss warnings are the 1st and 3rd areas of the field.
