Thanks. If you move your whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop and launch the game, does it still happen in a completely new save? None of your saves will be in the game but this is only for testing in a clean game, they are safe in the folder you moved.

Have you tried playing around with the game options and seeing if it makes a difference?

    I changed my graphics settings to Medium, as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and that did solve the initial glitch problem!
    However, my issue now is that if I try to place stairs, it won't let me place stairs (or anything else), and tells me that the bottom of my stairs are off the lot, which they most definitely are not.

    Great that you fixed it 🙂 Could you create a new report for your stairs issue? Crin may move it over here from the bugs forum but it should be in a separate thread 🙂
