Re: [FIXED] Can′t use split from household and move/LE: add_knows_career

I just found a solution to this issue for those trying to go to university in the dorms!! It’s a little janky but stay with me:

1. Load your game, create a save as file to test this out (in case it fails for whatever reason). Make sure you’re playing on that new save file and your original one before experimenting is safe

2. Enroll in university via mailbox

3. Pick classes, set your schedule and pick the dorm room

4. When it comes time to split household, don’t transfer any money. Just hit the checkmark. Ignore the warnings about money, you can always use the money cheats after it’s done. (I kept having issues when I tried transferring money)

5. Your game will freeze on the split household. But if you look at the bottom right, you might be able to see the class schedule. You’re actually enrolled!

6. If you’re on PC, do alt + f4 and hit save and exit

7. Reload your game. You should be in university now! I ended up doing this with 3 separate teen sims one at a time.

Proof: I just did it with 3 separate sims to enroll them in university. It was buggy at first but I added them all to family using the shift cheats and then reloaded my game one more time. All 3 are in the dorms!! Game breaking bugs suck, but I hope this solution helps some people!

This fix doesn't seem to work for me, when I reload my game my sim isn't playable. I couldn't even find her on the households lists, I had to cheat to add her back to my household and she was still enrolled in university but could not live there. No sims in this save that I've had for about a year can live in a university housing lot but when I tried on another sim in a different save that I made last week it worked like normal. This is literally so annoying I just wanna live in a dorm!!
