[LDSP] Endless loop when upgrading or repairing Washing machine

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.72.28.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Island Living, Cats and Dogs, Get Together, Seasons, City Living, Realm of Magic, Parenthood, Vampires, Paranormal, Tiny Living, Laundry Day, Vintage Glamour, Spooky
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim with Level 10 Handiness try to do any of the upgrades on any version of the washer or dryer. This also occurs when items like the stero break, and the sim goes to repair it.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim gets stuck in an endless loop and the upgrade/repair never gets done. There is no green progress around the action, so I know it is glitching. The sim will work on the upgrade forever unless I cancel the action. This also happens if a repair person is called to fix the item -- they get stuck in the endless loop. They will not leave until I "fire" them.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see a green progress circle/bar around the action that shows the progress of the upgrade/repair. I also expect to see the upgrade/repair eventually get completed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Basically what I already stated. So far I've noticed this bug with any version of the washer and dryer from Laundry Day, as well as my stereo. I was previously able to upgrade my stereo, and it is supposed to be unbreakable, but it still breaks. The only way I am able to repair it when this happens is to replace it.

    @nittany_mads Did you upgrade the stereo to unbreakable ?

    If you buy a new machine, can you also not upgrade that ?

    @nittany_mads I've seen this. It appears to randomly happen when upgrading something, anything. It doesn't happen very often but when it does, the "upgrade" process goes on forever until cancelled. No progress bar. Most of the time when cancelled, it will show as completed. On rare occasions it won't and I have to delete and re-purchase the item.

    @crinrict @Psychotps Hi, yes the stereo was fully upgraded. I eventually just replaced it and it hasn't broken since, although it's only been a few days game time. As for the washer/dryer, I have tried buying new ones, switching between the stacked and the horizontal washer/dryer, reset object (debug), and I even just had my sims move houses. I thought maybe switching to a new lot would fix the issue, but no luck. Since I just moved to a new lot, both the stereo and the washer/dryer were in my household inventory from the move before I placed them in the new house.

    I cannot upgrade the current washer/dryer I have now, and I can't upgrade them still even if I buy new ones. 

    The link you left me for the washer/dryer issue, I have had the washer/dryer break in other save files, and I have had the repair man come and he's been able to fix it no problem.

    @nittany_mads Could you edit your post to be about the washer/drying upgrade issue ? Stereo seems to be the first issue I linked then, just post there.

    Does it work to upgrade in another household in the same save ?
